Editorial policy

Editorial Standards

These standards describe how Be The Investor approaches sourcing, attribution, corrections, AI-assisted workflows and editorial transparency.

Last reviewed: October 2, 2026

Sourcing and attribution

We prefer primary sources whenever practical, including regulatory filings, company investor-relations material, official statements, exchange data and public financial disclosures.

When reporting or analysis relies on a third-party source, we identify or link the source where available and avoid presenting third-party claims as independently verified facts.

Material numbers, quotations and time-sensitive claims should be checked against the most current reliable source available at publication time.

Accuracy and context

Headlines and summaries should accurately reflect the underlying article and should not promise information that the article does not contain.

We distinguish factual reporting from analysis, scenarios and forward-looking estimates. Investment scenarios are not presented as guarantees.

Where data may be delayed, estimated or provider-dependent, the relevant limitation should be disclosed.

AI-assisted publishing

BTI uses software automation and AI-assisted tools to help collect, structure, summarize and analyze information.

AI-assisted output can contain errors or omit context. It is treated as a tool in the publishing workflow, not as an independent authority.

Sources, attribution and factual claims remain subject to the same standards regardless of whether automation was used.

Corrections and updates

When we identify a material factual error, we aim to correct the article promptly.

Substantive updates may change the visible modified date. We do not intentionally refresh publication dates merely to make old reporting appear new.

Readers can report a suspected error through our contact page or by email.

Editorial independence and commercial content

Editorial coverage is intended to support research and education, not to execute trades or provide personalized investment advice.

Advertising, affiliate relationships or commercial arrangements should not be presented as independent editorial judgment.

Sponsored or promotional material should be clearly distinguished from editorial content when applicable.

Authors and bylines

Each article displays a byline identifying a named contributor or the Be The Investor Research editorial identity.

Author or editorial identity pages provide additional information about who is responsible for the published work.

The publisher identity, company information and contact methods are available through our Newsroom and About pages.
