ARK Invest is reshuffling its biotech exposure after large moves across several genomics and AI-drug-discovery stocks.
The supplied source says ARK bought about 1.48 million shares of Recursion Pharmaceuticals, 96,308 shares of Intellia Therapeutics and 115,472 shares of Veracyte across ARKG and ARKK.
The reported values were roughly $6.1 million for RXRX, $1.2 million for NTLA and $5.3 million for VCYT.
At the same time, ARK sold 90,713 Twist Bioscience shares worth about $18 million and also trimmed 10x Genomics and CareDx.
The pattern looks more like rotation than a broad change in biotech conviction.
Recursion had risen more than 16% on Monday and recently extended a data-licensing partnership with Tempus through 2029. Intellia is awaiting an FDA decision on its lead hereditary-angioedema therapy, with a March 10, 2027 PDUFA date cited in the source. Veracyte recently reported Phase 3 data related to its Decipher Prostate test.
ARK’s sales also came after strong price moves. The source says Twist had gained more than 60% over the prior month, while 10x Genomics had risen more than 48%.
For investors, ARK’s trades are useful as a positioning signal but should not replace company-level analysis.
BTI’s bottom line: Wood is reallocating capital from some of the sector’s strongest recent winners into names with different catalysts. The more important questions remain clinical, regulatory and commercial execution at each company rather than the direction of one fund manager’s trade.
